Thyristor controlled battery chargers can be used to charge batteries with a regulated voltage irrespective of the changes /spikes occuring at the input side of the supply to increase life of the battery due to smooth charging.
Ratings in this model can vary from: 12v to 110v and currents vary from
15 AMPS minimum to over 250 AMPS.
